1614905400 is an Air/Oil Separator used on air compressors. Its main function is to filter and separate lubricating oil particles mixed in the airflow before the compressed air is discharged, so as to ensure the purity of the output compressed air and return the separated oil to the lubrication circuit of the compressor.
Core Functions and Working Principle
During the operation of the screw air compressor, lubricating oil is injected into the main unit for lubrication, sealing and cooling, forming a high-density oil-gas mixture.
1. Mechanical Coarse Separation: After the mixed gas enters the oil-gas separator tank, 99% of the large liquid oil droplets settle to the bottom of the tank through rotational collision and gravity.
2. Glass Fiber Coalescing Filtration (Function of This Product): Compressed air containing micron-scale oil mist passes through the multi-layer ultra-fine glass fiber of 1614905400. The oil mist continuously accumulates (coalesces) on the filter medium to form larger oil droplets.
3. Oil Return System Recovery: The accumulated oil droplets flow to the groove at the bottom of the filter element under gravity, and are drawn back to the cylinder of the main unit through the oil return pipe of the air compressor to realize the recycling of lubricating oil.

When replacing, make sure the conductive pins/stainless steel strips on the new gasket are in good contact with the metal surface of the oil-gas separator barrel, and strictly prevent foreign objects from falling into the oil-gas separator barrel.

Replacement cycle: The rated service life is 3,500 – 4,000 hours under standard operating conditions (or replace it as part of the annual maintenance). • Alarm prompt: When the air compressor panel indicates excessive oil separator pressure difference (usually reaching 0.08 - 0.1 MPa), it means the filter element is clogged. The machine must be shut down immediately for replacement; otherwise, energy consumption will surge or the filter element may rupture and cause oil leakage.
