As a core filtering component in the after-treatment system of air compressors, it is mainly responsible for separating and recovering mist-like lubricating oil particles from compressed air, so as to supply high-quality dry, clean and oil-free compressed air for industrial production.

Core Functions and Working Principle

During the operation of a screw air compressor, lubricating oil is discharged together with high-temperature and high-pressure compressed air, forming an oil-gas mixture.

1. Coarse Mechanical Separation: After the mixed gas enters the oil-gas separator tank, more than 90% of large-particle liquid oil settles to the tank bottom by centrifugal force.

2. Fine Glass Fiber Separation: Compressed air containing micron-sized oil mist passes through the 3422012600 filter element.

3. Coalescence and Recovery: Ultra-fine glass fibers trap tiny oil droplets and make them coalesce into larger oil droplets. These droplets accumulate at the bottom of the filter element under gravity and are sucked back into the airend via the oil return pipe; clean compressed air is discharged through the center of the filter element and delivered to the gas consumption end.
